For the 10 year anniversary of the V10 engine in the R8, Swiss born, New York-based artist, Fabian Oefner was commissioned to build Audi's slowest high-speed photograph. Oefner captured the disintegration of the engine through an intense, 168-hour period of disassembling and photographing each part down to the nuts and bolts, commemorating a moment that never really existed.
